As part of our “what else is there to do when it’s freezing cold” series, we’re proud to announce we’ve put another of our favorite events on the schedule: Rioja Night!
Rioja Night is a celebration of all things Spain. The wine will be flowing, featuring the rich, Tempranillo-based reds and Viura-based whites of Rioja, which pair so well with delicioso Tapas, beautifully catered by Chicago’s Bulerias Tapas. The kicker for the evening is the entertainment: Lar Mar de Bien, which roughly translates to “when everything is spot on,” is a Flamenco Trio utilizing the main three elements of the art form: the Cante (voice) of Marina Claudio; the Baile (dance) of Marfil Keller Aleman; and the Toque (guitar) of Martin Metzger. With many travels to Spain for study, the Trio members honor the roots and traditions of Flamenco, while offering modern interpretations.
All of the above, for a steal at $65!
We’ll cap attendance at 40 people so everyone gets a seat and the dancer has room to perform. Last year sold out, so buy tix early and often here for a night sure to be muy, muy caliente!
One week cancellation policy. Please note we’re just two blocks from both the Main Street Metra and the Main Street “El.”
